There are many ways in which you can pledge your support to give hope and a future to Luxor's disadvantaged children. We would welcome any donations of cash but this is not the only way in which you can help us. If you have an idea for fund raising and can give your time and energy to helping alleviate the desperate need of these children then please fill in a Membership Form and join us. Membership is free and without obligation.
Donations can be made simply by clicking on the Donate Now button and using the Charity Choice secure payment system. If you prefer to pay by chequeor make regular payments by standing order then please contact us at donations@luxor4care.org.uk or write to the UK registered address. We always email a receipt but if you require a written receipt then please enclose a stamped addressed envelope.
You may also wish to make regular contributions by Standing Order. Please send to completed form to your bank.
Sponsorship
We have a number of children and young people either living at home or in one of several different care homes who would greatly benefit from regular sponsorship. The children’s ages range from birth through to young adulthood and all of them are disadvantaged and in need of your help.
Sponsors will be matched with a child and will be sent a sponsorship pack containing a photograph and details of the child that we hope you will sponsor.Also in the pack will be all the relevant forms relating to standing orders and gift aid.Regular updates will be given on the child’s progress and he or she will be encouraged to write to you or send you a drawing twice a year.
Sponsors are also needed for the family food parcels containing meat and basic necessities that are distributed to the poorest families in Luxor on a monthly basis.Many families are living below subsistence level and need extra nourishment if the children in these families are to thrive.
Sponsorship of a child starts with a minimum commitment of £10.00 per month. We are also helping children in very poor families by arranging for food parcels of essential items and meat to be delivered to them on a monthly basis. Sponsorship of a family food parcel costs £5.00 per month. Sponsorship can be arranged simply by clicking on the Sponsorship link and filling in the on-line form but if you prefer we can send you the appropriate forms by post.
Gift Aid
If you are a UK taxpayer please complete the Gift Aid Form . This will cost you nothing but Luxor4care is then able to reclaim 28p in every £1 donated.
